Arley F. Mason

Arley F. Mason 90, a loving father,  passed away  Wednesday May 7, 2014 at the Emeritus of Ravenna.  He was bornNovember 14, 1923 in Annamoriah, West Virginia to the late Charles and Eva (Stutler) Mason.  Mr. Mason has lived in Ravenna since 1952, was a member of the Blackhorse Baptist Church and  was retired from Gaugler Induatries Kent.    He was a member of the VFW Post 1055 in Ravenna after proudly serving  his country as a verteran of the US Army  in WW II. Survivors include  his children Dale (Debbie) Mason of Rootstown,  Barbara (Eugene) McFarland of Brimfield, Deborah (Wilfred) Terrill of Ravenna, seven grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren,  four great great grandchildren.  In addtion to his parents, he was preceded in death by  his wife Mildred on September 1, 2009 and brother Hubert Mason.  Calling hours will  be 1-3 PM Sunday May 11, 2014 at Shorts-Spicer-Crislip Funeral Homes Ravenna Chapel where funeral services will be 11:00 AM Monday May 12, 2014 with Pastor Dallas Sanford officiating.  Committal services with military honors by the VFW Post 1055 and the US Army will follow at Grandview Memorial Park Ravenna, Ohio.  The family requests that memorials may be made to the Wounded Warrior Fund PO BOX 758517 Topeka, KS 66675.
