Arley E. White , 83 of Charlestown Township, passed away at Robinson Memorial Hospital  on Sept. 23, 2014. Arley was born in Littleton, WV Sept. 30, 1930. He was the son of the late Ray and Olive (Powers) White.  Arley served during the Korean War from 1948- 1954 with Co. "A" 14th Armored Calvary in Germany. He retired in 1993 from General Motors in Lordstown, Oh. Arley is survived by his wife, Billie (Wood) White whom he married Feb. 1, 1952. Sons Arley (Linda) White, Jr. Kent, Oh. Jeffery (Debbie) White, Racine, WI. Daughter, Charlotte (Doug) Senters, Randolph, Oh, ; 5 grandchildren, Brian  White, Kent, Oh; Kevin White, Columbus, Oh; Justin White, Racine, WI; Sarah (Shaun) Gardner, Raeford, NC; Lisa (Keith) Bunker, Lancaster, Oh. 3 great grandchildren, Enola,  Gwen and Lacey Bunker. Brothers, Ericle (Connie) White, New Martinsville, WV;  Charles White, Knob Fork, WV; Roger (Maryjane) White, Martinsburg, OH; Ronnie (Duska) White, Endicott, WV; Billy (Diane)White, Martinsburg, OH, Sisters, Estline  (John) Kondus, Venice, FL; Josephine Cartwright, New Martinsville, WV; Cora Mae (Mariano) Vasquey, Jacksonburg, WV; Emily (Roger) Hennen, New Martinsville, WV; besides his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers Glene White; Robert White; and sisters Garnett Gillespie; and Ardella White.   Calling hours will be 5-8 PM Friday September 26, 2014 at the Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Homes Ravenna Chapel where funeral servicves will be 11:00 Am Saturday September 27, 2014 with Pastor Ed Beck officiating.  Burial  with Military Honors by the Ravenna VFW Post 1055 and the US Army will follow in Charlestown Twp. Cemetery.  The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to the staff of RMH Hospice, the Step down unit and respiratory Therapy at Robinson Memorial Hospital.
