Arthur Johnson, Jr.

Arthur Johnson, Jr. 84 of Windham passed away Wednesday, December 10, 2025 at Country Club Retirement Center in Newton Falls. He was born February 23, 1941 in Shorter, AL to Athur and Mattie (Warren) Johnson. Arthur worked at GM in Lordstown and was a lifetime member of the NAACP. He enjoyed playing softball and taught Karate to the young in Windham. Survivors include his children Angela Johnson, Warren K. Johnson and Jeffery Johnson, grandchildren Alyssa Norman, Ashley Burgess and Derwin Norman and great grandchildren Luna Croff, Kali Morgan, Kyrie Morgan, Aubrie Elizabeth Burgess and Max Burgess. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Truzetta Johnson and siblings Evelyn Scott, Josie Boyd, Bertha Johnson, Pearline Boyd, Robert Warren and LC Johnson. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at 2:30 PM on Sunday, December 28, 2025 at Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Ravenna Chapel.
