Audrey M. (Penicka) Jaremko

Audrey M. Jaremko, 83 of Akron,  passed away Monday January 30, 2012 at the Merriman Nursing Home in Akron, Ohio.  She was born August 20, 1928 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Otto and Helen (Koterba) Penicka.  She has lived in Akron the past four years, was formerly of Streetsboro, was a member of the Community Church in Aurora and was active in the Aurora Community Theater.  Survivors include her children Myra (Todd) "Jaremko" Oiler, Steven (Susan) Jaremko, Jill Mauer, Jack (Suzanne) Jaremko all of Streetsboro, her grandchildren Michael Oiler, Lindsey Oiler, Kelly Jaremko, Michael Jaremko, Sara (Mauer) Blakely, Lisa (Mauer) Kaehne, Kevin Jaremko, Mark Jaremko, Joanne (Jaremko) Weinman, her great grandchildren Truitt, Isabella, Blayne, Nolan, Penelope and her brother Earl Penicka of Mentor, Ohio.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Otto Penicka, Jr.  Calling hours will be Thursday February 2, 2012 from 4 PM until time of memorial services at 7 PM at Shorts-Spicer-Crislip Funeral Homes Streetsboro Chapel.  The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the American Cancer Society.
