Barbara Jean (Johnson) Sollberger

Barbara Jean Sollberger, age 67 of Ravenna, OH passed away on January 1, 2018. Barbara was born on January 15, 1950 in Oklahoma City to the late Clifford and Jean Johnson. Barbara worked as a receptionist for Dr. Jastrzemski's office for 14 years, prior to that she worked as a nurses' aid in the Pediatrics department of Robinson Memorial Hospital. Barbara enjoyed collecting Hummels, Snow Babies, antiques, and cooking for her family. Her southern recipes will always be remembered.  She is survived by her husband James Sollberger, and by their children; Shawn (Kimberly) Sollberger, Jaime (David Suit) Sollberger. Her memory is also cherished by her brother Ron Johnson, her aunts Jo and Mary, her grandchildren; Grace, Lilly, and Izzy, special friends Sandy Huth, Julie Rand, Sandi Suit, and her beloved Yorkie-poo Paco. Calling hours will be held on Saturday, January 6, 2018 from 10-11 AM at Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Homes' Ravenna Chapel. The funeral service will immediately follow calling hours at 11AM. Interment will take place at Grandview Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Portage County's Animal Protection League, or The American Diabetes Association.
