Barbara Lee (Murdock) Fannin

Barbara Lee Fannin 76, a resident of Diamond since 1964, died Thursday, March 5, 2015 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born October 4, 1938 in Akron, OH to Gertrude Rowles and Stan Murdock. Survivors include her daughters Shelley (Mark) Johns of Mayfield Heights, Wendy (Frank) Yanni of Cuyahoga Falls and Sandra Fannin of Diamond, sons George (Paula) Fannin of Austintown and Michael Fannin of Diamond, grandchildren Brittany and Tiffany Trammel, Elizabeth, Christina and Emily Johns, Nicole, Michael Jr., Kyle and Ashley Fannin and Jenna North, great grandson Alex Stewart,  brothers Forrest Thorn of Mogadore, Sid Thorn, George Murdock and Danny McCabe, sister Loretta Vaughn and her beloved dog Lula. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Michael in 2002 and brothers Stan and Lonnie Murdock. Calling hours will be held from 6 - 8 PM Monday, March 9, 2015 at Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Ravenna Chapel. Funeral services will be at 10 AM Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at the funeral home with Reverend William Snyder officiating. Burial will follow in West Cemetery in Palmyra.
