Barbara Elaine Logan, 74 of Ravenna passed away Friday, May 16, 2014 at Longmeadow Care Center in Ravenna. She was born October 10, 1939 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Max and Evelyn (Stewart) Shaw. She was employed for many years at Robinson Memorial Hospital in the Dietary Department. She was also an employee of the American Red Cross and the King-Kennedy Community Center. She was a dedicated volunteer for the Winfield Church of God Food Pantry. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Louis Nathan Logan, daughters Darlene and Michelle, Sister Carol Lane and brother Hugh Shaw, great-grandmother Annabel Johnston. Survivors include her children Janice Wade of Akron, OH, Marilyn (Rick) Maxwell of Ravenna, Gary of Ravenna, Angela of Akron, Paul of Mt. Vernon, OH, Gary Daniel of Warren, OH, Michelle Shadie of Akron, Kathy Mercury of Ravenna, 19 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, and special friend Mr. Lee Counts of Ravenna. Calling hours will be held Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at First Church of God, 237 New Milford Rd. at 9:00 AM until time of funeral at 10:30 AM with Pastor Kevin R. Smith officiating
