Barry W. Thomas Sr, 72 of Streetsboro passed away Friday, March 14, 2014 at Robinson Memorial Hospital. He was born October 5, 1941, Monongahela Twp. Green County, PA to the late Ray and Marie (Brownfield) Thomas. He retired from Jerpbak-Bayless Co. in Solon. Barry was in the US Navy. He was a member of the Streetsboro Eagles, VFW, and American Legion. Survivors include his children, Barry Thomas Jr (Peggy Edwards) of Shalersville, Cindy (Oliver) Allen of Streetsboro, James Thomas (Auline Dean) of Garrettsville, Kim (Rick) Shaw of Streetsboro, grandchildren, Jessica (Dan) Wysznski, Caytie (Chandler) Kraut, Alex (Celina), Olivia, Raymond, Nick, Taylor, Alyssa, Ryan, Ally, great granddaughters, Lily, Kenadie, Layla, brothers and sisters, Jack (Carol) Thomas of NY, Pat (Kenny) Rockwell of PA, Sharen (Bob) Clarke of PA, Ruth (Charles) O'Brien of PA, several brother in laws, sister in laws, nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Janet (Provance) Thomas whom died December 9, 2011. Services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, March 21, 2014 at the Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Streetsboro Chapel where family and friends may call from 12:00 PM till time of the service with Pastor Charles O'Brien officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery Streetsboro.
