Bernadine G. (Sever) Potkay

Bernadine G. Potkay 74 of Streetsboro died Thursday, February 23, 2012. She was born February 27, 1937 in Cleveland, OH to Louis and Ann Marie (Lechko) Sever. Bernadine was a member of St. Joan of Arc Church in Streetsboro, where  she served on Altar & Rosary Society. She had resided in Streetsboro for the past 53 years and had worked at Fishers Big Wheel and Lake West Hospital. Survivors include her children Cindy (Jim) Carlson of Streetsboro, Lu Potkay of Kent, Susan Campbell of Streetsboro, Karen (Mike) Adlard of Streetsboro and Jeffrey (Barbara) Potkay of Streetsboro, 6 grandchildren and sisters Anne (Frank) Wade of Seven Hills, Sr.Dolores Sever of Garfield Heights and Carol (Edward, Deceased)Span of Independence. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Edward in 1998 and a brother Louis Sever. Calling hours will be from 2 - 4 & 6 - 8 PM Monday, February 27, 2012 at Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Streetsboro Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Tuesday, February 28, 2012 at St. Joan of Arc Church in Streetsboro with Father Pat Ferraro officiating. Burial will follow in All Saints Cemetery in Northfield.  Memorials should be made to Altar & Rosary Society at St. Joan of Arc Church, 8894 St. Rt. 14, Streetsboro, OH 44241.
