Bernard Salazar, Jr. 56 of Kent, formerly of Ravenna died Saturday, February 25, 2017 at Altercare of the Western Reserve in Stow, Ohio. He was born March 3, 1960 in Los Angeles, CA to Bernard Sr and Maria S. (Llamas) Salazar. Bernard worked for GoJo Industries in chemical dispensing. Survivors include his wife Christine (Bennett), mother Maria Salazar of CA, children Benjamin (Regina) Salazar, Nicolette (Matt) Salazar, Sydnee Salazar, Kyle Salazar and Preston Salazar, grandchildren Kristen Rios, Logan Salazar, Izebelle and Gabriella Salazar and sisters Antonia and Guadalupe. He was preceded in death by his father Bernard Sr. and a brother Edward. There will be no calling hours or services, cremation has taken place. Arrangements have been entrusted to Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Ravenna Chapel.
