Bernice M. (Steele) Mccauslin

Bernice M. McCauslin 83 of Ravenna Township passed away Wednesday July 9, 2014 at her residence.  She was born April 23, 1931 in Akron to the late Claude and Grace (Cline) Steele.  Mrs. McCauslin was a member of Grace Episcopal Church in Ravenna and a resident of Ravenna Township since 1964. Bernice was a member of the Altar Guild, enjoyed her children, horses, her beloved dogs, shopping, classical music, mystery's, Reading and watching BBC TV.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Duane in 2009, her sister Mildred Snyder and one grandchild.  Survivors include her children Terry (Sue) McCauslin of Carlsbad, New Mexico, Dawn Rinear of Ravenna, Becky (Ron) Thayer of Ravenna Township, Jenny(Glade) Harrison of Middlefield, six  grandchildren, six great grandchildren and sister Donna Knistautas of Houston, Texas. Calling hours will be held from 5 - 8 PM Friday, July 11, 2014 at Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Ravenna Chapel.  Funeral l Service will be held at 10:00 AM at Grace Episcopal Church, 250 W. Cedar Street, Ravenna, Ohio with Rev. Carol Evans officiating. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Ravenna following the service.
