Bernice H. (Tewes) Mccolloch

Bernice Helen McColloch 96 of Ravenna passed away Thursday March 5, 2015 surrounded by her loving family. She was born April 18, 1918 in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio to the late August Carl and Nancy (Brown) Tewes.
Mrs. McColloch lived in Ravenna most of her life, she was a member of the Ravenna First United Methodist Church , the Ravenna Coterie and Ravenna Couples Club. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, after 65 years of marriage Melvin L. McColloch on February 27, 2003, her grandson Gregory Hugill and siblings Winifred Dombroski, Virginia Wancik and Donald D. Tewes.
Survivors include her children Lois J. (Thomas) Hugill and Doris K. Schuler both of Ravenna, Gary L. (Barbara) McColloch of Rootstown, James D. (Linda) McColloch of Bonita Springs, Florida; nine loving grandchildren and seventeen loving great grandchildren .
A family service was held March 7, 2015 at Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Ravenna Chapel with Reverend Vernon White officiating. Burial followed at Maple Grove Cemetery in Ravenna, Ohio. Memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church 263 S. Prospect St. Ravenna, Ohio.
