Betsy J. (Rickenbacher) Lingo

Betsy J. Lingo 90 of Ravenna passed away Sunday, April 7, 2013 at Robinson Memorial Hospital. She was born May 12, 1922 in Edinburg to the late Albert and Freda (Pinney) Rickenbacher.  She worked for Twin Coach, was a secretary for Custom Beverage in Aurora, and was a Realtor. Betsy was also a graduate of Boheckers Business College.  A den mother, brownie scout leader, girl scout leader, and golfed with the Portage County Women's League.  Survivors include his daughter, Sharon (Ray) Lingo-Dawson of Roseville, CA, sons, Timothy (Barbara) Lingo of Spokane, WA , Robert Lingo of Rootstown,  her twin sister, Betty Sage of Streetsboro, 6 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren.   Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles A. Lingo whom died October 4, 2009 and a brother Donald Rickenbacher.  Calling hours will be held from 11:00 AM till the time of the service at 12:00 PM at the Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Ravenna Chapel on Monday, April 15, 2013.  Entombment will be in Grandview Memorial Park Ravenna following the service.  Rev. William Snyder will be officiating.
