Betty Caniglia 79, of Kent, formerly of Ravenna , passed away Sunday, August 29, 2010. She was born November 21, 1930 in McCorkle to the late Okey and Ocie (Armstrong) Canterbury . She was a member of Ravenna Church of Christ , retired from Portage County where she worked for as a housekeeper in the Court House . Betty enjoyed spending time with family and her loving grandkids. Survivors include her daughters, Elizabeth France , Arzella Schoppelrey, Linda Ricci, brother, Carson Armstrong, 8 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Achille Caniglia and grand daughter, Heather Lohr. Funeral Service will be held TODAY, at 5:00 PM Tuesday, August 31, 2010 , with Calling hours being held from 3 - 5 PM prior to the service, at the Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Ravenna Chapel. Rev. Terry Smith will be officiating today's services. Burial will follow at Grandview Memorial Park Ravenna.
