Betty Jean (Fortune) Wilson

Betty Jean Wilson 91 of Kent passed away Monday, July 1, 2019 at Aurora Manor Nursing Home. She was born May 30, 1928 in Chatham, Ohio to Russell and Caroline (Solomon) Fortune. Betty was a homemaker and a Portage County resident since 1960. Survivors include her children Dianna (Darcey) Brasel, Cheryle (Ronald) Reitz and Randall (Diane) Wilson, 7 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren and a brother Ernest Fortune. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Solomon K, Wilson and a son Kerry Wilson. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of her life will be held at 4 PM on Monday, July 15, 2019 at the Ravenna Masonic Lodge. Arrangements have been entrusted to Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Ravenna Chapel.
