Betty E. (Fosher) Canfield

Betty E. Canfield 92 of Hudson, Ohio formerly of Des Moines, Iowa, died Tuesday, April 5, 2011. She was born February 9, 1919 in Winterset, Iowa to Hubert and Alma (Johnston) Fosher. Betty was a very active member of the Park Avenue Presbyterian Church in Des Moines and was active in many community service projects. Survivors include her daughter Marcia (Tom) Kelly of Hudson, Ohio, sons Irving Canfield of Woodburn, Oregon and Ward (Jinhee) Canfield of Mt. Prospect, Illinois and 6 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Earle L. Canfield. A memorial service will be held at Park Avenue Presbyterian Church in Des Moines at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorials should be made to the Park Avenue Presbyterian Church, Building Fund, 3120 SW 9th Street, Des Moines, Iowa 50315
