Betty Jean Kessel

Betty Jean Kessel 90 of Streetsboro passed away Saturday, May 16, 2026 at Northfield Village Nursing Home in Northfield. She was born November 20, 1935 in Nitro, West Virginia to Leslie Cleveland and Oma Elizabeth (Harrison) Dean. Betty worked as a waitress and bartender for Waylon's Tavern in Streetsboro and was an avid bowler. Survivors include her daughters Marsha Paksi and Melissa (Clarence) Tackett, 5 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and daughter in law Tracy Kessel. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband James William Kessel and son Kenneth Kessel. There will be no calling hours or services. Cremation has taken place.
