Betty R. (Roby) Carpenter

Betty R. Carpenter 78 of Ravenna died Friday, October 3, 2014. She was born December 14, 1935 in French Creek, WV to the late Floyd and Alta (Rollyson) Roby. Betty retired from Ravenna City Schools as a Bus Driver after 30 years and had attended Bethel Baptist Church in Ravenna. Survivors include her husband of 61 years Donald Carpenter, son David Carpenter of Castilla, OH, 4 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and sisters Kay Lower of Ravenna and Judy Williams of WV. There will be no calling hours or services, cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers the family request memorials to Robinson Hospice, 6847 N. Chestnut Street, Ravenna, Ohio 44266. Arrangements have been entrusted to Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Ravenna Chapel.
