Betty J (Ross) Butto

Betty J. Butto 82 of Shalersville passed away Tuesday, August 28, 2012 at the Gardens of Western Reserve in Streetsboro. She was born January 3, 1930 in Mantua to the late Frank and Daisy (nee Paul) Ross. She was a former member of Crossroads Community Church in Shalersville. Betty enjoyed cooking, reading, crocheting, and attending watercize class at Kent Roosevelt School.  Survivors include her children, Gary (Mary Jo) Butto of Surfside Beach, SC, Luke (Laura) Butto Jr of Macedonia, David (Jane) Butto of Salam, VA, Sam (Tina) Butto of Lawndale, CA, Bettylu (Geordie) DePasquale of Huron, Bill (Tami) Butto of Garrettsville, grandchildren, Angela, Dominic Salvatore, Angelo, Jennifer, Shawn, Kyle, Gina, Sara, Nickolas, Mark, Sophia, sister, Mary Ann Allison of Sagamore Hills, and brother, Frank Ross of Upper Sandusky. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Luke Butto whom died November 24, 2008, and her brother, Jim Ross.  Calling hours will be held from 5 - 8 PM Friday, August 31, 2012 at Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Streetsboro Chapel.  The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, September 1, 2012 at the Life Church Assembly of God, 10280 St. Rt. 88 Garrettsville, OH 44231. Pastor D. Greg Ebie will be officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery , Shalersville, OH following the service. Donations can be made to Crossroads Hospice.
