Betty J (Yonker) Devine

Betty J. Devine, age 94, of Florida formerly  of Kent passed away on June 2, 2017. Betty was born on August 1, 1923 to the late Marcus and Martha Yonker. She was preceded in death, by her loving husband Elwood "Woody" Devine, her daughter Julie Ann Memmer, and  her brothers Francis, Donald, Leland, and Dale Yonker.  She is survived by  her children Sandra (Ed) Gregory and Mark (Jeanette) Nickol.  Her memory is also cherished by her 5 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren.  Betty was a member of New Testament Baptist Church, and worked for Portage County Jail for 20 years. Memorial calling hours will held on Sunday July 2, 2017 from 1:00 PM until time of the memorial services at 2:00 PM at New Testament Baptist Church 3583 W. Main St. in Ravenna.   Rev. Bob Burgess will officiate.  In lieu of flowers, memorial  donations can be given to RMH VNA and hospice.
