Beverly J. (Hodson) Strayer

Beverly J. Strayer 77, a resident of Kent since the 1940's, died Monday, April 30, 2012. She was born December 27, 1934 in Wilmore, PA to Albert S. and Celeste R. (Martinage) Hodson. Mrs. Strayer retired from the housekeeping department at Kent State University. Survivors include her husband of 60 years Thomas J., daughter Deborah Ash of Kent, son Thomas Jr. of Brimfield, 2 grandchildren and twin sister Shirley Leffel of Cuyahoga Falls. She was preceded in death by her
parents and sisters June Rummel and Florence Hodson. There will be no calling hours or services, cremation has taken place. Arrangements have been entrusted to Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Ravenna Chapel. Burial will be in Restland Cemetery in Brimfield.
