Beverly J. Sweet

Beverly J. Sweet , 75 of Streetsboro passed away Saturday July 28, 2012 at Akron City Hospital.  She was born April 22, 1937 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Russell and Loretta (Simpson) Ahrens.  Mrs. sweet has lived in Streetsboro the past 54 years and had worked at Weingarts Farm.  Her favorite thing to do was spend time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.  She was a loving mother to  Kim (Helen) Sweet of Ravenna, Jim (Denise ) Sweet of Streetsboro, Jim (Elaine) Kershner of MIlan, Sheila Jones of Ravenna, Gail (Dewayne) Suto of Ravenna, a loving grandma  to 18 and a loving  great grandma to eight. She is also survived by her brother Roy (Jane) Ahrens of Ravenna.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Worthy L. Sweet in April of 2007, son in law Greg Jones and brother Gus Ahrens.  Calling hours will be 5-8 Pm Wednesday August 1, 2012 at the Shorts-Spicer-Crislip Funeral Homes Streetsboro Chapel where funeral services will be 1:00 PM Thursday August 2, 2012 with Rev. Paul Beal officiating.  Burial will follow in Grandview Memorial Park Ravenna, Ohio.  Memorial donations may be made to the St. Judes Hospital 501 St Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105-1942.
