Billy R Cox

Billy R. Cox 85 of Ravenna passed away Wednesday January 13, 2016 at his residence.  He was born October 25, 1930 in Kingsport, Tennessee to the late Orgie and Nannie (Fletcher) Cox.  Mr. Cox had retired from Ford Motor Company Walton Hills  in 1989 after 33 1/2 years of service.  He enjoyed antique cars and was a veteran of the US Army  serving his country in the Korean War. Survivors include his sons Terry Cox of Maryland, Gary (Laura) Cox of Ravenna, Johnny (Jennifer) Cox of Tennessee, several grandchildren and great grandchildren.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Peggy on January 1, 2003, his daughter Janet , three sisters and two brothers.  At his requests, cremation has taken place.  Private family services will be held at a later date.  Condolences and memories  of Billy  may be shared with the family at www.sscfuneralhomes.com.
