Billy R. Maggard

Billy  R. Maggard 59 of Stow, formerly of Shalersville, died Friday, August 26, 2011. He was born March 21, 1952 in Big Stone Gap, VA to the late Ervin and Lovina (Sturgill) Maggard.  He was a member of the Full Gospel House of Prayer in Streetsboro, a US Army veteran and retired from Chrysler Corporation as an inspector. Survivors include his wife of 38 years Kathy J. (Shirer), sons Douglas R. (Ann) of Ravenna and Philip W. (Ruth) of Kent, grandchildren PJ, Emily, Jaymes (Jessica), and Chelsi, sisters Sonya and Ervina Maggard both of Brimfield and brothers James of Stow and Gary of Ravenna. He was preceded in death by his parents, grandson Shane and sister Marilyn. Calling hours will be from 5 - 8 PM Monday, August 29, 2011 at Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Streetsboro Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Tuesday, August 30, 2011 at the Full Gospel House of Prayer in Streetsboro with Pastor Darrel Libengood officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Streetsboro. The family request memorials to the American Cancer Society.
