Blanche M (Channels) Conkle

Blanche M. Conkle, 81, of Ravenna passed away Tuesday May 21, 2019 at UH Portage Medical Center in Ravenna, Ohio.  She was born on November 27, 1937 in Spencer, WVA  to the late Grover and Lora (Carpenter) Channels.  Blanche has lived in Ravenna since 1982 and had retired from the Kmart in Stow where she worked as a supervisor.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers.  Survivors include her husband Claude Conkle whom she married in 1982, her children  Denis Bellman of Colorado, Kathy Mitchell of Summersville, WVA, Teresa Benton of Ravenna, Barry Mitchell of Akron, David Mitchell of Toledo,  nine grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.  At her request,  cremation has taken place.  For information regarding her  Celebration of Life services, please see  the posting on her Facebook.  Condolences and memories of Blanche, may be shared with her family at www.sscfuneralhomes
