Blanche L (Wymer) Peacock

Blanche L. Peacock, 97 of Mesa, AZ, formerly of Ravenna, passed away October 24, 2010. She was born April 12, 1913 in Marlboro Township, to the late Frank and Minnie (Shoe) Wymer. Blanche worked for Trexler Rubber for 27 years where she retired in 1975. She was a former member of the First United Methodist Church in Ravenna, the Ravenna Coterie, VFW Auxiliary, and the Eagles Auxiliary. Survivors include her daughters, Donna Joan Murphy of Burgettstown, PA, Roberta A. Moore of Mesa, AZ, sisters, Inez Lemon of Florida , Freda Dalrymple of Ravenna, Wanda Biltz of Rootstown, brothers Floyd Wymer of Michigan Leo E. Wymer of MI, 6 grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Peacock who died September 1, 1996, and Grandson John K. Moore who died of Nov. 11, 2007, sister, Clara Knapp, brothers, Donald, Royal, and Roger. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, November 13, 2010 at Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Ravenna Chapel with Rev. Vernon White officiating.
