Bobbie J. Tawney

Bobbie J. Tawney, 72 , of Fort Myers FL, passed away peacefully on December 14th, 2022 with her Husband, Joseph Tawney, by her side. Bobbie grew up in Hudson Ohio and lived much of her life in Streetsboro Ohio. Bobbie worked as a cosmetologist for many years and enjoyed spending as much time as she could with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She also enjoyed a good game of pool,  traveling, shopping online, and she had a love for a nice tv binge with a nap. Bobbie, known by many as Nana, will be dearly missed and always remembered. We were blessed to have her in our lives. Bobbie was preceded in death by both of her parents, Thomas and Nancy Neal and her sister Tommie Graber. Bobbie leaves behind a long list of family including her husband, Joseph Tawney of Fort Myers FL. She leaves behind siblings James Neal, Bess Kohl, Patsy Freeman, Kenny Neal, Dennis Neal, Russel Neal, and Amy Sayre. She also leaves behind her daughter Tabitha (and Kirt) Teter, her grandchildren Tayler (and Jake) Williams, Katriana Teter, Zachary Teter, Brittany Teter, Madison Teter, and Gabriella Teter. She leaves behind six great grandchildren Karmyn, Harlee, Eli, Teagan, Preslee, and Dahlia, who all loved and cherished her. Bobbie had many nieces and nephews that she also loved dearly. The family is requesting a celebration of life to be held in Bobbie's honor as opposed to traditional funeral services. We request all of Bobbie’s loved ones and friends to join us in celebrating her beautiful life at Shorts-Spicer-Crislip Funeral Home, 9781 Page Road, Streetsboro, OH 44241 on January 7th at 11 am to 1 pm.
