Boyd W. Croft

Boyd W. Croft 74 of Fountain Inn, SC died Thursday, June 25, 2015. He was born March 21, 1941 in Coleman, FL to Samuel Herbert Jr. and Lois Marie (Rogers) Croft. Boyd was a US Army veteran receiving the Silver Star, Purple Heart and other distinguished medals. He was  a self employed contractor and had lived in Vidor, Texas and Mantua, Ohio. Survivors include his wife Sylvia "Sally" (Pinter) Croft, daughter Monica Lynn (Gregory)Croft-Brown, son Jason Todd (Renee) Croft, grandchildren Kallie, Adrianna, Britton, Zachary and Hayden, great grandchild Harper, sister Lucille (Nester) Galivez and brothers Jerry (Mary Sue) Croft, Van (Elizabeth) Croft and Ronnie (Beverly) Croft. He was preceded in death by his parents, grandson Nathan, sister Flora Mae Townsend and brothers Robert and Tony Croft. A private family graveside service will be held at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman, Ohio. Arrangements have been entrusted to Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Streetsboro Chapel.
