Brian D Joy

Brian D. Joy, 57 of Garrettsville, passed away Saturday January 14, 2023 at the UH Portage Medical Center in Ravenna.  On January 13, 1966 Brian was born in Ravenna, Ohio to Dorsel and Phyllis (Lay) Joy.  Brian was a tow motor driver for Manaline in Mantua and had lived in Portage County most of his life.  He was preceded in death by his father Dorsel Joy.  Survivors include his son Denver Joy, his grandsons Anthony, Axel Joy, his mother Phyllis Joy and sister Melissa (Clint) Andrews.  In honoring his request, cremation has taken p lace and a celebration of life service will be held at a later date.  Condolences and memories of Brian may be shared with his family at www.sscfuneralhomes.com.
