Buster L. "Buck" Prater

Buster L. "Buck" Prater 77 of Paris Twp., Ohio passed away Thursday July 6, 2017 at his residence. He was born October 16, 1939 in Wilkes, VA to the late Dillard and Pearl (Keen) Mullins. Mr. Prater has lived in Paris since 1976 and had retired from Automative Packaging Systems where he worked in Maintenance. He was a very avid bowler and a former member of the Ravenna Moose. Survivors include his wife Carroll (Sorah) Prater whom he married May 29, 1961, his daughters Wanda Carroll (Tommy) Gehret, Rhoda Kay (Mark) Kale, his grandchildren Nichole, Cody and Logan Kale. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son Jackie Prater and brother James Prater. Graveside services with burial to follow will be held on Monday July 10, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Hawley Cemetery in Paris Twp. Ohio.
