C. Roger Bruce

C. Roger Bruce, 79, of Brady Lake, passed away Monday June 24, 2024 at his daughter's home in Randolph.  On July 6, 1944, Mr. Bruce was born in Georgia to the late Quenton A. and Rady D. (Frasure) Bruce.  Roger was a lifelong Brady Lake resident and retired from Ramco Specialty in Hudson where he worked as a quality control manager.  He enjoyed the outdoors, being an avid fisherman and playing golf, as well as a avid bowler.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Sheila K. Bruce on December 9, 2020 and his brother Ronald Bruce.  Survivors include his children Carolyn (Darrell) Hylton, Lisa (Dave) Caipen,  Bill (Tina) Bruce, his grandchildren Derek, Kelsey, David, Robert, Brandon, Ryan , his great grandchildren Sam, Lucy, Radie, Patton, Layne, Nellie, Makenna, Jack, Preston and brother James Bruce.  Calling hours will be 10:00AM until time of the 11:00 Am funeral service on Friday June 28, 2024  at the Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Homes Ravenna Chapel.  Burial will follow in Grandview Memorial Park Ravenna, Ohio.  Condolences and memories of Roger may be shared with his family at www.sscfuneralhomes.com.
