Carl F. Anderson

Carl F. Anderson 97 of Ravenna went home to be with the Lord on Thursday  April 24, 2014 at the Woodlands at Robinson. He was born March 1, 1917 in Westerville, PA to the late Fred and Mary Nella (Matthews) Anderson. He served with the US Army during WWII, was an engineer for National Fuel and Gas in Erie, PA.  Carl was a member of the Charlestown United Methodist Church. He will be sadly missed by his sons, Terry (Linda) Crouse of Ravenna,  Matthew (Caroline) Anderson of PA, James (Katsuko) Anderson of AL,  a sister, Emmaleen (George) Kerkanich of SC, 6  grandchildren, 10 Great Grandchildren, and 5 great great grandchildren.  He is together  in the Arms of Jesus with his wife Catherine Anderson and grandson Scott Crouse.   The Funeral Service will be held Sunday, April 27, 2014 at 3:00 PM with calling hours being held from 2:00 till time of service at the Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Ravenna Chapel. Burial will be held Monday, April 28, 2014 in Bridge View Cemetery, Mt. Jewett, PA.
