Carl E. Fischer

Carl E. Fischer 76 of Streetsboro passed away Tuesday, June 17, 2014 at University Hospital Twinsburg. He was born September 29, 1937 in Jefferson, PA to the late Henry W. Fischer and Vernice Mae (Litten) Fischer.  He was a US Army Veteran from  1958 - 1964 served in USA & Germany. He worked as a supervisor for East Ohio Gas Co. till he retired in 1995. Carl liked to coach baseball (Little League), spending time at his camp in Pennsylvania, and going hunting and fishing with his children and grandchildren.  He belonged to  Venture Church of Frost Road.  He will be sadly missed by his loving wife, Estella L. (Shawley) Fischer, whom he married November 15, 1959, children, Carl E. (Sandy) Fischer Jr. of Streetsboro, Heidi (Larry) Black of Munroe Falls, Keith (June) Fischer of Diamond, grandchildren,  Jason, Jacob(Becky), Kristi, Josh, Ashley, Bryon, Karla, Ian, Luke, Abaigeal, Aidan, Sophia, brother, Robert (Betty) Fischer of Punxsutawney, PA, Thomas Fischer of  Thomasville, PA., and a sister in law, Barbara Fischer of Waynesburg, PA.  Besides his parents he was preceded by his brother, Hanry W. Fischer.  A Memorial Service will be held at 12:00 PM Saturday, June 21, 2014 at the Venture Church (Frost Road Chapel) with Rev. Chris Kuzma officiating.  The final resting place is in Evergreen Cemetery.  Memorial donations can be made to Venture Church,935 Frost Road, Streetsboro, Ohio 44241, in Carl's Name.
