Carl J. Tubaugh, 87, of Ravenna died Monday, September 16, 2013 at Robinson Memorial Hospital. He was born July 5, 1926 in Woodsfield, OH to Carl W. and Lela (Jackson) Tubaugh. Carl had lived in Deerfield from 1990 to 2008, retired from McVay Transfer Company and worked at Colonial Rubber Company in Ravenna. Survivors include his daughters Debbie (Dave) Horning of Kent, Donna (Ervin) Konkle of Ravenna and Cheryl (Jack) Hogue of Deerfield, grandchildren Erica Hogue, Chad Konkle, Danielle Horning, Matthew Hogue and Derek Horning. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Daisy, grandson Timothy David Horning, sisters Lela Evalena Tubaugh and Alice Lallathin and brothers Harry, Richard and Harley Tubaugh. Private graveside services were held at Grandview Memorial Park in Ravenna. Arrangements have been entrusted to Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Ravenna Chapel.
