Carol E. (Fritchman) Long

Carol E. Long 67, of Deerfield, a long time resident of Shalersville, died Wednesday, November 23, 2016. She was born February 27, 1949 in Ravenna. Carol had worked for the Kent City Schools and as a bus aide for Portage County Headstart. She was preceded in death by her parents Robert W. Fritchman and Mary K. (Mulvay). Survivors include her daughters Heather (Melissa) Long of Deerfield and Erin Douglas of Garfield Heights, grandchildren Brandon Douglas and Kaylee Mays and a great grandson Jaiden Moore. A celebration of her life will be held from 4 PM to 7 PM on Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at 2180 Parkway Drive in Deerfield, Ohio. In lieu of flowers memorials should be made to Windham Baptist Church, 9809 E. Center Street, Windham, OH 44288. Arrangements have been entrusted to Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Ravenna Chapel.
