Carole J (Vollman) Wain

Carole J. Wain, 81, of Ravenna, passed away Saturday October 5, 2024 at Vista Veranda in Ravenna, Ohio.  Being a lifelong Ravenna resident, she was born January 18, 1943 to the late Hubert Eric and Mauriece A. (Conger) Vollman.  Carole had many jobs in her lifetime, a police dispatcher for Ravenna City Police Department, mayor's secretary for Ravenna City and then retiring as a treasurer for the Portage County Board of Education.  She is survived by her loving companion Dick Borden,  sons Bob (Cindy) Wain, Terry (Patricia) Wain, Jr,  her sister Joanne Ross, her  grandchildren Alex (Kayli Lafferty) Wain, Nick (Keara) Miller,  Cheri (Dave Barnett) Lee whom she thought of as her daughter and her children Stephanie (Justin) Forbes, Jeffrey Lee,  Friends may visit on Thursday October  10, 2024 from 1 PM until time of the 2 PM funeral at the Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Homes Ravenna Chapel with Rev.
