Carole L. (Watson) Byers

Carole L. Byers 75 of Ravenna passed away Saturday, March 15, 2014 at Altercare of Brimfield. She was born June 13, 1938 in Olyphant, PA to the late William and Goldie Watson. She was a member of the 700 Club, and enjoyed playing bingo with her family. Carole will be sadly missed by her loving husband of 43 years, James Byers, daughters, Debbie (Craig) Cavalier of Hiram, Carole (Joe) Takacs of Mantua, Dawn (Tony) Krantz of Rootstown, son, Donnie (Kathy) Byers of Garrettsville, sister, Audrey Murphy of PA, grandchildren, Brian Harron, Chris Cavalier, Jessica Hall, Debbie Miller, Tracy Brisentine, Chad Cargo, William Cargo, Daniel Cargo, Curtis Byers, 15 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.  Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her son, Randy Crago, and a step-sister, Goldie Wilson.  A Graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, March 19, 2014 at Hillside Cemetery in Mantua, with Pastor David Gray officiating. A Luncheon in memory of Carole will be held directly after the service at 7685 State Route 305, Hiram, Ohio 44234.
