Carolyn Jean Arbuckle

Carolyn Jean Arbuckle, 87, of Aurora, passed away peacefully in her home on Wednesday, November 12, 2025. Jean was born on March 20,1938, in Jefferson, PA, to Francis and Helen (Gretz) Suehowicz. She was a longtime member of The Church in Aurora, where she served as the wedding hostess for 16 years, was active in the Reception Committee and enjoyed decorating the church. She was involved with the Aurora Community Theater, serving as Producer for many plays and received several awards for the sets she designed. Jean's survivors include her son Timothy (Connie Isaac) Arbuckle, daughter Tracy Sheffield, grandchildren Devin (Steven) Sweeney, William (Stephanie) Sheffield and Carolyn Sheffield, sister Mary Frances Pochron and companion Keith Miller. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Donald Arbuckle, son Ted Arbuckle and grandson Ben Sheffield. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at The Church in Aurora at 11:00 am, on November 22, 2025. Burial will take place in Aurora Cemetery at a later date.
