Carolyn T (Knall) Masseria, 67, of Streetsboro passed away Thursday, March 12, 2015. She was born May 19, 1947 in Cleveland to the late John and Margaret (McDonough) Knall. Carri was a resident of Streetsboro for the past 40 years and recently retired from Rockwell Automation where she was an Information Security Analyst. Survivors include her children Sharon (Massoud) Goldan of Stow, Tom Masseria of Las Vegas, NV, Laura Masseria of Encino, CA, David Masseria, Deborah (Bert) Schaum, Renee (Russ) Biggs all of Cuyahoga Falls, 8 grandchildren, her sister Peggi (Jack) Batcheck of Columbus. She was preceded in death by her former husband Robert Masseria and sister Joan (Hap) Berichon. Carri was a unique, smart woman who enjoyed spending her spare time with her family, had a passion for horses and large breed dogs, antiques, historical homes, the Amish culture and taking long drives. She was a devout Catholic who was a member of the Women's Renewal Team at St. Joan of Arc Streetsboro and a Eucharistic Minister who served the local nursing homes. She will be greatly missed. Calling hours will be held from 7 - 9 PM Friday, March 20, 2015 at the Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Streetsboro Chapel. Funeral Mass will be at 11:00 AM Saturday, March 21, 2015 at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church Streetsboro with Father Pat Ferraro officiating. Burial will be in Standing Rock Cemetery, Kent, Ohio following the Mass.
