Carolyn R. (Colton) Kale

Carolyn R. Kale 77 of Ravenna died Monday, December 7, 2015. She was born October 14, 1938 in Akron, Ohio to Cyril and Madeline (Rankin) Colton. Carolyn was a member of the First Christian Church in Ravenna, the D.A.R. and the Portage County Historical Society. She retired from the GE Plant in Ravenna. Survivors include her sons Robert C. Kale of Ravenna and Mark (Rhoda) Kale of Diamond and grandchildren Cody and Logan Kale. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Robert L. in 2009 and a sister Georgia Harris. Calling hours will be from 6 - 8 PM Thursday, December 10, 2015 at Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Ravenna Chapel where funeral services will be at 11 AM Friday, December 11, 2015 with Wayne Enders officiating. Burial will follow in Homeland Cemetery in Rootstown. In lieu of flowers the family request memorials to the American Cancer Society, 10501 Euclid Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio 44106.
