Carolyn Joy (Greenwood) Barile

Carolyn Joy Barile 66 of Deltona, FL , formerly of Ravenna, OH, died Tuesday February 1, 2011 at her home.  She was born December 24, 1944 in Maple Heights, OH to the late John and Charlotte (Honeywell) Greenwood.  Carolyn has lived in Florida for the past 15 years where she was the Co-Owner and Operator of Buck's Amusements, Inc.  She also was a lifelong member of the Ravenna, VFW Ladies Aux, Elks, American Legion , and Moose.  Survivors included her daughters, Pennie Smith of Streetsboro , April Bates of Akron, son, David Ferris of Akron, step-sons, Patrick Barile, Mark Barile both of Streetsboro, Curtis Barile of NC, Kevin Barile of Ravenna, sisters, Sally Azen, Mary Ruman, brothers, Bill Greenwood , Tom Greenwood, 6 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Patrick H. Barile whom died November 18, 1993, sisters, Char Bogus, brothers, Clair Greenwood and Johnny Greenwood.  Calling hours will be held from 2-4 and 7- 9 PM Tuesday, February 8, 2011 at the Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Ravenna Chapel.  Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday, February 9, 2011 with Pastor Sherman Bailey Chapel of Prayer of Akron will be officiating.  Burial will be in Grandview Memorial Park Ravenna following the service.
