Carolyn "Carol" L. (Mcmahan) Edwards

Carolyn L. Edwards 79 of Mantua passed away Thursday, August 25, 2022 at UH Portage Medical Center. Carol was born December 9, 1942 in Sevierville, TN to Carl and Doris (McFall) McMahan. Carol worked as a beautician before having her two children. Carol loved crocheting, crafting, traveling, and taking long walks on the beach. She’d never miss an episode of Wheel of Fortune and loved spending time with her grandchildren. Survivors include her husband Clarence E. Edwards, children Sheila (Steve) Edwards-Canepa and Charles E. (Karen) Edwards, grandchildren Sammy, Emma and Caroline. Half siblings include Elizabeth Shultz, Peggy Myers, Jack Regan, Troy Regan (deceased), Fleeta Regan and Sue Kotta. Special cousins include Debbie Noble and Harold McMahan and their families. Carol was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother to her three granddaughters. And as Carol would put it, we will always love her “to the moon and back.” Calling hours will be from 11 AM until time of funeral service at 1 PM Monday, August 29, 2022, at Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Streetsboro Chapel. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery in Shalersville.
