Carolyn Lou (Mcbride) Mcelwain

Carolyn Lou McElwain 68 of Ravenna passed away Tuesday, March 1, 2011 at Robinson Memorial Hospital. She was born September 22, 1942 in Ravenna to the late Earl G. and Marian G. (Osborne) McBride.  Carolyn enjoyed playing bingo, board games and cards.  She is survived by her daughters, Tammy Housley of Ravenna, Teresa Horvatic of Kent, sisters, Joanne Pasquale of Youngstown, Bonnie Oros of Kent, Linda Yeary of Ravenna, many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her sisters, Beverly Taylor, Connie McBride, and Judith Coburn.  A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, March 5, 2011 at the Lake Brady United Methodist Church, 1995 Brady Lake Road Kent, Ohio 44240, with calling hours held from 12 till time of service.  Pastor Karen Drotar will be officiating.  Private Burial will be held at later day.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the family.  The family wishes to say Thank You to The Woodlands and Robinson Hospice.
