She went on to raise her family in Ravenna, Ohio, where she made her home for many years. Carolyn worked as a health care aide, a role that reflected her caring nature and dedication to helping others. She was a proud and faithful member of Immaculate Conception Church in Ravenna, where she found strength in her faith and community. She was the loving grandmother of Michael Peppeard, Nicholas Peppeard, Danielle Peppeard, Rachael (Brad) Kuhns, Amanda (Donny) Chilson, Ashley (Jeremy) Safranic, Deidre Peppeard, and Gale Peppeard III, and the proud great-grandmother of ten great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her mother, Juanita Cornett, and her former husband, Gale Peppeard Sr. A private family service will be held at a later date in West Virginia.
