Catherine L. Russell-Stahl, 74, of Streetsboro, formerly of Rootstown, passed away on Friday, July 5, 2013 surrounded by her family. She was born on October 5, 1938 in Woodruff, West Virginia to the late, Jacob B and Zola M. (Prendergast) Hager. She attended the Church of the Nazarene in Ravenna and was a manager for Verghese Properties. Catherine is survived by her daughter, Sherry L. (Ronald) Kramer of Streetsboro; son, Leonard (Tracie) Russell of Mantua; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sister, Shirley (Rev. John) Sgro of Mansfield; and brothers, James Hager of Ravenna and Thomas (Karen) Hager of Ravenna. In addition to her parents, Catherine was preceded in death by her husbands, Murdock "Scotty" Russell and Wilbert H. Stahl; and brother, John Hager. Calling hours will be held on Monday from 10AM until the 12PM with the service to follow. Reverends Tracy Ogden Johnson and John Sgro will officate the service at Shorts-Spicer-Crislip Funeral Home, Streetsboro Chapel. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery, Shalersville.
