Catherine Ellen (James) Laws

Catherine Ellen Laws 86 of Streetsboro passed away Thursday, November 30, 2023 at UH Portage Medical Center in Ravenna.  She was born October 13, 1937 in Hambleton, WV to Doyle and Catherine B. (Long) James.  Catherine retired form Dirt Devil where she worked in assembly.  Catherine was proud of her marriage of 47 years to Marion Laws, and being a mother to 2 daughters.  Survivors include her daughter Deborah Pavlick, 7 grandchildren, John Saxon (Alexis), Meghan Potkay (Chris), Marissa Pavlick (Kevin Austin), Michaela Harris (Charlie), Brittany Goodman (David), Logan Spence and  Madison Spence., 6 great grandchildren and sisters Sandra Lawson (Doug) and Gerri James.  She was preceded in in death  by her parents, her husband Marion and her brothers Robert, William and Dennis James.  Private family services have been held with burial in Evergreen Cemetery in Streetsboro.
