Cecelia J. "Judy" (Watts) Thompson

Cecelia J. "Judy" Thompson, 83 of Ravenna, passed away Friday August 19, 2022 at her home with her family by her side.  She was born June 20, 1939 in Dorothy, WVA to the late Cecil J. and Ada Marie (Southard) Watts.  Mrs. Thompson has lived in Ravenna most of her life and retired from EvenFlo in 1994 where she worked as a supervisor. Judy and Earl  promoted   Bluegrass music at the Shalersville Township Hall.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded  in death by her granddaughter Amanda Brunk, siblings Joan Sawyer, Monte Watts and Marlena Lesho.  Survivors include her husband of 64 years Earl Thompson, whom she married December 31, 1957, her daughters Sonia (Arthur) Wampler, Patricia (Alan) Mazanek, her grandchildren Patricia Stidd, Douglas Wampler, Leslie Hart, Katie Mazanek, Cody Mazanek, her great grandchildren Katelyn Tooley, Hayden Tooley, Logan Tooley,  Trenton Tooley, Richard Vasko III, Daniel Vasko, Ellie Vasko and brother John (Carol) Watts.  Calling hours will be 6-8 PM Thursday August 25, 2022 at the Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Homes Ravenna Chapel where funeral services will be 12 Noon on Friday August 26, 2022 with Pastor Jim South officiating.
