Chad Christy

Chad Thomas Christy 34 of Ravenna passed away Friday August 17, 2012 at Akron City Hospital. He was born November 10, 1977 in Ravenna to Thomas Christy and Deborah (Helmling) Christy. Chad has lived most of his life in the Ravenna and Shalersville areas. He enjoyed the outdoors especially hunting, fishing and also raising his pigs and a cow.Chad's friends meant allot to him,he was willing to help others and even after his passing he still helps others by donating to Life Banc helping two other people to see. Survivors include his wife Angie (Thomas) Christy whom he married in 2008, children Abbie Christy, Benjamin Barnette, Allison Barnette ,mother Deborah Christy, father Thomas Christy, his grandparents Rich and Florence Helmling, brother Todd (Kally) Christy and several nieces and nephews.. Calling hours will be 5-8 PM Tuesday August 21, 2012 at the Shorts-Spicer-Crislip Funeral Homes Ravenna Chapel where funeral services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday August 22, 2012 with Jim Lovejoy officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery Ravenna, Ohio.
