Charles "Chuck" Anthony Rosati

May 21, 1961 — May 3, 2025

Streetsboro

Charles "Chuck" Rosati, age 63, of Streetsboro, Ohio passed away on Saturday, May 3, 2025.  He was born May 21, 1961 in Sharon PA.

Chuck graduated from Kent State University with a BS, Bachelor of Science in Architecture .  He was a registered architect, RA, NCARB and most recently employed by Prime AE Group Inc.as Sr. Project Manager.  Chuck was an accomplished architect and most proud of designing hundreds of newspaper plants across the country and countless other types of buildings and projects.  You can walk through any major city, look up and you may see a building that he either worked on or designed.  Chuck left his "stamp" on this world.

He was a member of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, Streetsboro, Ohio.  In his spare time, Chuck was a mentor, a coach, a friend, but most of all,  a church-going husband and father.  Chuck was the "Best of the Best", kind hearted and the hardest working man you would ever meet.   Chuck was the rock of his family; they meant everything to him.  He enjoyed hiking or going to concerts with his wife Bonnie;  talking about life or attending sporting events with "his boys", AJ and Andrew; and building "projects" or antiquing  with his daughter, Anna.  His favorite thing to do was "just hanging out" with his family doing nothing at all, laughing uncontrollably.  See ya at the Tiki Bar!

Chuck is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Bonnie; children, Anthony Joseph (Shelby), Andrew James (Amanda) and Anna Marie Rosati.  He is also survived by his mother, Sandy and sister, Karen Rosati; and beloved dog, Spanky Tom.

He was preceded in death by his father, Louis J. Rosati.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 17, 2025 at Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home, 9781 Page Rd. Streetsboro, Ohio 44241 from 1 to 3pm with a celebration of life to follow at 3pm.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to American Cancer Society or a Mental Health organization that will help with Autism.

In Memory of Charles "Chuck" Anthony Rosati, RA, NCARB

Senior Project Manager | Akron, Ohio

Honoring a life dedicated to service, mentorship, and architectural excellence. Your vision shaped our communities. Your leadership inspired generations. Your coaching built more than careers — it built character.

With enduring gratitude for your legacy in design and in life. You will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

It is with deep sadness that we share the news of the passing of our colleague and friend, Charles “Chuck” Anthony Rosati, RA, NCARB. Chuck passed away on Saturday, May 3, 2025. He was a Senior Architect and Project Manager in our Akron office and a cornerstone of the PRIME AE team.

With more than 40 years of experience in the architecture, engineering, and construction industry, Chuck brought a depth of expertise, professionalism, and heart to everything he did. His role at PRIME AE was a true reflection of his capabilities—overseeing all aspects of his projects with expertise and thoughtful leadership. He worked closely with our clients to define goals, manage performance, and ensure every detail—scope, schedule, budget, and quality—was handled with care.

Chuck’s recent work focused on Department of Defense projects, including efforts at NAS Corpus Christi in Texas, Tyndall Air Force Base in Florida, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Ohio, and Minot Air Force Base in North Dakota. He was especially known for his work on the A&E renovations at Wright-Patterson AFB and his leadership on projects with the Ohio Turnpike Infrastructure Commission. Through each project, Chuck embodied the very best of our mission to make everything around us better.

One of Chuck’s most recent professional achievements was earning both Six Sigma Black Belt and Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certifications—design quality credentials that helped PRIME AE qualify for more than $50 million in potential federal contracts. His determination to expand his knowledge and support his team’s growth made a lasting impact, and we are deeply grateful for his contributions.

Beyond his many accomplishments, Chuck was known for his sense of humor, his kindness, and the way he brought joy to those around him. In his obituary, those closest to him shared that he was professionally “most proud of designing hundreds of newspaper plants across the country and countless other types of buildings and projects. We can walk through any major city, look up, and we may see a building that Chuck worked on or designed. He left his stamp on this world.”

Chuck’s legacy will live on through the buildings he shaped, the people he mentored, and the community he helped build at PRIME AE. He will be deeply missed.

In honor of his memory, PRIME AE’s Architecture and Engineering Business Line has reached out to Kent State University’s College of Architecture and Environmental Design to receive donations and fund an Award or multiple Awards(s) for aspiring Architecture Student(s) in Chuck’s memory.

If you feel moved to contribute, PRIME AE would be honored to see support from across all of our offices—coming together to help future architecture students in his memory.
