Charles G Davis

Mr. Charles Davis, age 69, of Kent passed away on December 29, 2024 at UH Portage Medical Center in Ravenna after a brief illness.  Charles was born on July 20, 1955 in Ravenna, Ohio to the late J.C. and Della Alexander.

Retiring from Paco Rubber in 2001, Charles was currently employed by Sun America in Alliance.  Charles was an outgoing, fun loving, quiet and respectful gentleman.  He was a good listener and full of grace.  Charles always had a joke.  His brother one asked, “How are you feeling?” and he responded, “I feel with my hands.”  He always had a big smile on his face.  Charles always loved spending time with family, playing cornhole, enjoying a barbeque and especially coming to his sister Christine’s home for the holidays.  He also enjoyed bowling, tennis, softball, golfing, fishing and was an avid chess player.

Although he had no biological children, Charles shared parenting duties of Jonie and Thomas (Jay) with his ex-wife Shirley Ayers and of Keyla, Nicole and Mya with his partner of many years Marsha Wilson. special friend Vicki Smith   Siblings; Verlena (Bro) Hodges, Ben Frazier, Bernard Frazier, Emannuel Frazier, Alexander Davis, Joseph Alexander, James (Vicki) Alexander, Lucy Alexander, Christine (Orlando) Gaddy, and a host of family and friends.
